Ocean life gets its own RoboCop

SoFi, short for "soft robotic fish" and pronounced "Sophie", was revealed last week by scientists working on artificial intelligence at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). SoFi is 45cm long and can swim at 23cm a second up to 18 metres under the surface for 45 minutes until its battery runs out.
